Uffizi!

On Tuesday the class took a trip to the Uffizi in Florence. Our assignment there was to choose our favorite work, for me that was completely impossible. Giotto, Botticelli, Caravaggio, Parmigianino to name a few of the hundreds of amazing artists whose works hang on those walls. Above I've posted Caravaggio's "Medusa" because first of all it's awesome..and second it's one of the only things I managed to steal a picture of. The Uffizi was probably my favorite part of Florence.

Pisa!

Lunedi mie amiche e io andiamo  il citta di Pisa! Pisa e una citta metropolitano.  Abbiamo visitato la torretta di Pisa. La torretta e molto storto!

La Accademia

Venerdi abbiamo visitato il museo Accademia. Il museo e molto piccolo! Ho venduto il statua di Michelangelo molto famoso. Michelangelo’s “David” e molto bello! Il statua e enorme! Io molto eccitato per guardare a “David”! 

Il Fine Setimana...

Il fine setimana le mie amiche e io siamo andate a Siena. Siena e un citta piccolo e bello. Abbiamo visitato l’duomo di Siena e il piazza. Tutto en la citta e piccolo. Le mie amiche e io  abbiamo visitato Enoteca di Bianchi e bevi  diverso tipi di vino. E molto bene! Il viaggio e divertimento!

Il Mercato Centrale..

Giovedi abbiamo visitato Il Mercato Centrale di Firenze. Il Mercato e interessare!

Off to Siena..

Today we are going to take a day trip to Siena, it's supposed to be beautiful. I have tons to blog about when I return. In the past couple of days we've been to the Mercato Centrale and the Academia, I have pictures and so much to tell. I'll fill you in!

Fine setimana e Roma!

Questo fine setimana abbiamo preso un treno per Roma. Roma e` una bella città e grande. Abbiamo visitato tutti i monumenti. Abbiamo visitato il Colosseo. Il Colosseo è  molto bello! Abbiamo vistato la Fontana di Trevi. La Fontana di Trevi è impressionante! E' il mio monumento preferito. Abbiamo visitato anche la Basilica di San Pietro. Le opere d'arte sono bellissime. Roma era un viaggio meraviglioso!

Busy days in Italy!

Wow! I've been so busy lately, but this trip has been amazing. Last weekend we took a trip to Rome and it was beautiful. Rome is much larger than Florence, and very different! The monuments in Rome were some of the most amazing things I have ever seen. Saint Peter's Cathedral in Vatican City was absolutely unreal! Valerie and I climbed all the way to the top of the dome, it took a while to climb over 300 stairs, but the end result was more than worth it! I have so many pictures that I am going to post as soon as I get time.

Today we went to the Pitti Palace which was almost overwhelming! It is an old palace that the famous Medici family once lived in, this amazing place is now a museum. Every inch of this palace was filled with artwork, even the ceilings! Unfortunately we weren't allowed to take pictures, but it was pretty cool to see many works in person that I've studied in art history class. Tomorrow we are going to an outdoor market, hopefully the weather will be better than today!

Roma!

Tomorrow most of the class is taking a weekend trip to Rome. Valerie and I are leaving Saturday morning and will return Sunday night. 

Mia compangna di camera..

Valerie e mia compangna di camera a firenze. Valerie ha un buon carattere. E bassa statura, ha i capelli marroni e lunghi. E ha gli occhi marroni e la bocca piccola. Valerie ha simpatica, socievole, e divertente.

Il mio primo giorno..

Il mio primo giorno a Firenze e stato molto buono. Ho caminato sopra l'arno e ho visitato il Duomo. Ho fatto shopping sul Ponte Vecchio. Io ho mangiatto cibo buono e bevuto molto caffe.
